Sensory and art playgroups for your little ones.
Located in Arlington, VA
Children are capable, creative, and active participants in their own learning.
We trust your kids. Yes, even your 2 years old!
We trust them with the glue bottles and sensory table full of beans. The environment we create is child-centered and inquiry based. We’re a place where children explore their own ideas, build confidence, and discover the joy in creative process.
Zero cookie cutter projects, lots of messy play.
Our play groups are sensory rich and process art oriented, meaning each time you drop off your child, they will get to properly engage with wet and dry sensory mediums that promote curiosity and creativity.
You might not always get a piece of art for the fridge but you will get a sparkling happy child!

Why sensory rich?
It all started when our son was found speech delayed and barely said any words by the age of 3. As a mom I was looking into anything that could help him develop expressive language skills and sensory play was one of those things. Later, I became a teacher at the preschool he goes to where I still teach.
I’m bringing all of my experience to these classes. While this is not a therapeutic group, each class will provide ample opportunities for developing brains to explore sensory and motor activities to help your child build on whatever they’re working on in the moment. All abilities are welcome!

Build Bonds That Last
Kids build friendships and parents find their tribe too. We host special parent-child play days and families’ group chat, fostering connections that last far beyond glitter and glue.
